Special Needs Personal Trainer (Casual/Part-time)


Job Overview:

We are looking for a driven, dedicated personal trainer who will be invested in the success of our clients. The personal trainer will work with parents to establish a fitness plan and track client's progress toward health and fitness goals. You should be motivated and excited to assist people with special needs to help them realise their potential. You should be caring, patient, knowledgeable, and passionate about the success of your clients.


Personal Trainer Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Working with parents, specialists and the NDIS to evaluate client’s conditions and create exercise plans.

  • Designing training programs for clients.

  • Driving to-and-from client’s homes providing personal training sessions.

  • Tracking client’s progress and writing reports for the NDIS.

  • Maintaining records relating to client’s condition, training, and treatment plans.


Personal Trainer Essential Requirements:

  • Valid driver’s license.

  • Working With Children Check.​

  • Certificate II in First-Aid.

  • Experience with disability care.

  • Experience with strength, conditioning and functional style training.

  • Patient, understanding and attentive, especially where the needs and health of clients are concerned.

  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Desirable Requirements:

Further education and/or experience with disability care and strength training is a bonus!
