We are looking for dedicated personal trainers who will be invested in the success of our clients. The personal trainers will work with parents to establish fitness plans and track client progress toward health and fitness goals. If you're applying for the role, you should be motivated and excited to assist people with special needs in realising their potential. We are seeking candidates who are caring, patient and knowledgeable.
This role will be tailored to the employee's availability and location preferences. See the Ability trainers work anywhere between 2 - 10 hours per week in locations convenient to them, paid accordingly.

Working with parents, specialists and the NDIS to evaluate client’s conditions and create long-term exercise plans.

Designing training programs for clients (per session).

Driving to and from client’s homes to provide mobile personal training sessions.

Tracking client’s progress

Maintaining records relating to client’s condition, training, and treatment plans.

Valid driver’s license
-
Working With Children Check.

Certificate II in First-Aid

Experience with disability care (not essential but highly regarded)

Experience with strength, conditioning & functional training

Patience and understanding, especially where the needs and health of clients are concerned.

Excellent interpersonal, problem solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
