FREQUENTLY
ASKED
QUESTIONS

  • Is this right for my child?
We pride ourselves on doing our best to make our service as accessible as possible for everyone. Whether the session consists of specific strength and conditioning exercises, or throwing a ball and going for a walk around the block, any kind of physical activity is better than none!
  • Are you NDIS registered?
Yes! We are registered under Health and Wellbeing supports as well as Capacity Building. There is a price gap that needs to be paid privately, however majority of the costs are covered under the NDIS.
  • My child is non-verbal, is that okay?"
We have worked with many non-verbal participants before and ensure we consult carefully with the parent or guardian to make sure the most effective practices are implemented.
  • My child is in a wheelchair / very physically restricted, is that okay?"
Whilst most of our participants have intellectual disabilities, and very minor physical disabilities, we can work with participants that have physical restrictions. It can range from coordination training, upper body work, catching and throwing, and core work. Ultimately, this comes down to collaborating with the parent and establishing whether or not we can deliver an effective session.
  • How long is a session and what if it’s too hard for my child?
Our primary focus of these sessions is to HAVE FUN and encourage more physical activity. A session runs for 45 minutes and not all of that is ‘hard’ exercise. The sessions are very individualised, meaning no two sessions look the same for our participants.
  • Is there flexibility with scheduling and timing of sessions?
Absolutely! We completely understand how chaotic life can be. Most of our sessions are delivered after school hours or on weekends. We will work with you as best as we can to coordinate times that work best for everyone involved.
  • What if we don’t have space at our house for your service?
We do our best to make the best of what we have! Whether it’s a driveway, carport, front yard, back yard, indoor living area, deck or garage, we do our best to work with the space we have. More often than not, all that’s required in terms of space, is an area for a large yoga mat.
  • Are your trainers confident and experienced to care for and assist my child throughout the session?
Our trainers come from a wide range of backgrounds and professions, bringing their expertise to the sessions. Whether they’re background is in physiotherapy, occupational therapy, mainstream strength and conditioning, personal experience, we ensure our trainers are adequately trained and equipped to deliver the most effective sessions possible.

Being a mobile service, we bring the equipment to your door, including: - Dumbbells - Kettlebells - Resistance bands - Slam-balls - Medicine balls - Yoga mats - General recreation accessories, i.e. tennis balls. - Boxing equipment - Plyometric Box - Gymnastic Rings
